Construction Dispute Resolved in Favour of Contractor

A significant dispute arose between a Class A contractor and the employer regarding major works in Nicosia.

The contractor sought nearly 500 days of extensions of time and substantial monetary compensation, citing unjustified delays by the project’s engineers and extensive variations.

Pursuant to the Contract’s amicable settlement mechanism, the matter proceeded to negotiation. Following consultations and the requisite governmental approvals, the dispute was amicably resolved in favour of our clients.
